Local Church Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover)

The role of Local Church Accounts Services (LCAS) Accounts Assistant is an integral part of the finance department within Elim. The primary responsibilities are preparing and inputting Church accounts to the DK accounts system and providing support to Church Finance Officers.

Specific include:

  • Providing administrative support to the LCAS department
  • Filing and scanning
  • Making and receiving phone calls
  • Managing daily post in and out and monitoring the LCAS Outlook inbox
  • Updating LCAS Register when items have arrived, or with additional comments
  • Handling payment requests for Churches who require assistance and referring to relevant department
  • Organizing office, to ensure efficiency and ease when completing tasks
  • Assisting the LCAS Manger with chasing overdue accounts or payments
  • Supporting Church Finance Officers with completing their role in any way (i.e. phone support)
  • Processing LCAS returns and inputting onto computerised accounting software
  • Checking and where required reconciling DK Direct Church accounts
  • Checking Church account records are complete and balanced
  • Location: Elim International Centre, Malvern
  • Salary: £14,515 - £16,500 Pro Rata
  • Permanent Contract: Part/Full-Time - 4/5 days per week
